Oceania Cruises
Oceania Cruises is based in Miami Florida and was founded in 2002 by luxury cruise industry
veterans Joe Watters and Frank Del Rio, the latter being the former vice president of Renaissance Cruises.
It is currently the world's largest upscale cruise line, offering good-quality food and itineraries at a
cheap price when compared to other upscale cruise lines.
In February 2007, the majority of Oceania Cruises' shares were sold to the New York-based Apollo Management.
The following month Oceania ordered two new 1,260-passenger ships which are to be constructed at the
Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. The delivery dates for the new Oceania Class ships are set for September
2010 and July 2011.
With Oceania you can savour the finest cuisine at sea and sail to the most intriguing ports of call.
With the most stimulating enrichment programs available and all the amenities you can expect from a
world class luxury cruise line.
Marvel at the world-class entertainment and create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
Oceania Cruises captures it all and brings it to you at fares that are surprisingly affordable.
