The Yachts of Seabourn

The Yachts of Seabourn is an ultra luxury cruise line headquartered in Miami, Florida. The line operates all around the world, from short seven day Caribbean cruises to exotic 100+ day cruises around the world it is owned by Carnival Corporation.

The Yachts of Seabourn specialise in smaller yachts, small enough to fit in many exotic ports around the world that large cruise ships can't reach. All cabins are suites and are well equipped with some of the best amenities available at sea. Passengers typically range in ages from the 40s to the 60s, but kids are still welcome.

The Fleet consist of three identical vessels. Each weigh in at 10,000 tons, and all were built during the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Seabourn Pride Seabourn Pride

Seabourn Pride is one of three German-built 5-star cruise ships, owned and run by the Seabourn Cruise Line. The Seabourn Pride was the first of her class, and set out on her maiden voyage in November, 1988, after being christened by Shirley Temple Black.

During 2005, she was refurbished along with the other two vessels in Seabourn Cruise Line, to keep up with the luxurious image of the Seabourn cruises.

She is identical to her sister ships Seabourn Legend and Seabourn Spirit. Like her sister ships, the Seabourn Pride is fitted with a Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD), designed as a non-lethal method to fend off attackers.

In 2006, a article declared Pride's New Year cruise as the most expensive in the category
